My Garden
This week I bought the supplies needed to start my garden. Along with potting soil and food I also purchased pots and a gnome decoration. Stay tuned for next week when I purchase my plants.

My MealThis is a fairly easy recipe to follow and I used all organic ingredients. For the asparagus I preheated the oven to 400 degrees F. I then lightly drizzled the asparagus with olive oil, black pepper and a little Himalayan salt. I spread the veggies out on a baking sheet and let it bake for 25 minutes. This 8 ounce steak is Pan-seared. I marinated this steak in pepper, all seasonings seasoning, and cooked on high heat in a skillet with a little salt and olive oil until it was medium rare in the middle. Simple and delicious, I made this meal for my mother and I :)

Exploring EducationFor week 1 I ventured off to twitter to find educational inspirations. I found a very interesting article and a blog that I'd like to share with you guys.
I really enjoyed the first article and felt like it connects to our class because of how it is centered on education technology. I thought that each of the three main focuses were good ways to get students active in their work. These three focuses were; local technology mentoring, technology projects to raise awareness locally and support a cause, and collaborative partnerships with distant peers. From this article I was also given a link to a blog that I have attached for you guys under blog one. This blog discusses how to get student's interested in projects that have real-world applications. I really like the ideas of using service to get students involved in their school work. Personally I think a great way of doing this in my classroom would be to have my students mentor and read to younger grades. 1. _ Click here for article one 2. _ Click for blog one |
